In March 2020, the Philippine Government enforced total Lock-down in the whole country and undergone Enhanced Community quarantine in every part of the nation. There were strict implementations of the country's guidelines on how to contain and prevent the spread of the Corona Virus.

This Pandemic has suddenly caused panic to every Filipino. People started to find themselves in survival mode, gathering information and resources necessary to function at school, work, and as a person. Some started to settle into their new routines, while others struggled with depression and frustration.

For some, this means trying to combat social isolation. For many, it means learning how to live (or re-live) with friends, family members, partners, or roommates which is not very easy. People have been confined in their homes, unable to leave except for essential reasons, and witnessed the vibrant and energetic city fall still and silent, in a mission to save lives from an invisible virus.

Coping Phase of the COVID-19 Pandemic

As days and weeks go by, people started to adapt in their new routines, may it be work, school and at home. In this phase, new trends and transitions have come up such as: Schools begin new method of learning through Online classes, Offices and firms continued their functions through work-from-home and lessen work-force, the Food and Beverage industry have kept up with Online selling and door-to-door deliveries, and unemployed individuals started to look for Online jobs and remote works in different Platforms like Upwork and Onlinejobs.ph, while others began their Freelancing journeys by enrolling in Online courses. This is the New Normal

This is a situation where we are all having to figure out how to respond, make the best out of it and practice love.
